We have bought a marble oblong platter H353. What do you recommend for cleaning ie product, we intend simply hot soapy (Fairy Liquid) water. Propsed use is as a chopping area for all types of product, meats, vegetables etc. and we understand cleaning after raw meat. Thank you in anticipation of your help. S Smith
Congratulations on your purchase. For cleaning the surface "Fairy Liquid" (or equivalent) will be fine, though please note the item should not be left to soak, simply wiped or scrubbed clean, then dried. It is generally good practise to have an independant chopping board for raw meat, if this is not possible then i would suggest using a food grade anti bacterial spray, from time to time. Marble is a gereat material to prepare and serve food on, but is not suited as a chopping board, as it is too hard and will blunt your knives.
